Meta-Landscapes: The representation of a “psychological” (subjective, emotional or imagined) space through the agency or depiction of an aspect of the physical external “landscape” of lens-based or technological image representation. The art work incorporates or depicts the artist’s personal, intellectual or cultural perspective through images of the natural world, often, but not always in juxtaposition to man-made artifacts or situations.
